In case anyone was curious (yeah, right), the traffic this morning wasn’t too bad. The busiest hour had about 2,000 visitors. After that Wonkette posted a few new items, so my link was bumped down far enough that traffic is dropping off.
I guess that means that my 15 minutes of Internet fame are wearing off. Ok, ok, it’s not really Internet fame. It’s just one link from a busy web site. Internet fame would be something like being NYP Tammy herself, or that “I kiss you!” guy, or maybe the Star Wars kid, or something like that. I guess that’s my next project. Become Internet-famous.
Or not. I don’t mind anonymity.
I have to say, I’m still very surprised to see NYP Tammy holding tight onto the top 2 Technorati searches. Like I said yesterday morning, since the video is pretty easy to find and download now, I thought the interest would drop off. But there it is, still full of interest and all that. You go, Singapore. You hold on to something that you should have lost interest in 5 days ago and keep it going strong. You go girl!
You WOULD think that this thing would drop, but I believe everyone is witing for another juicy morsel of something to spread. If anything, Tammy NYP demonstrates the potential power of the Blogosphere. Imagine if bloggers could unite behind a good or socially relevant “cause”…
I keep viewing it more as the power of horny Asians rather than the power of the blogosphere, but maybe that’s just me.
